INVESTIGATIVE SERVICES COURSE
What do I need before I start?
There are no formal prerequisite units required for entry into this course.
However, participants must possess adequate English language, literacy, and numeracy (LLN) skills to enrol in this qualification. You must complete an online LLN ASSESSMENT before starting the enrolment process for this course.

What will I need to provide to enrol?
- Enrolment Form
- USI (Unique Student Identifier)
- Photo Identification (equiv. to 100 points)
- Completion of LLN assessment
- Copies of previous qualifications (if applicable)
- Full Payment (or instalment per unit)
What units will I complete?
To achieve this qualification, competency must be demonstrated in:
- 16 units of competency
- 5 core units
- 11 elective units.
Electives are to be chosen as follows:
- all 8 units in Group A plus 3 units from any other group not already selected, or
- all 7 units in Group B plus 4 units from any other group not already selected
- up to 1 unit may be selected from any Training Package, as long as it contributes to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome and maintains the AQF level of this qualification.
To apply for a private investigator licence# in NSW, you must satisfy other general suitability and criminal history criteria. The cost of this licence is NOT included in course fees.

# Class 2E – Private Investigator – work as a private investigator carrying out investigation and/or surveillance activities in NSW.

SECURITY RISK ANALYSIS COURSE
What do I need before I start?

- an elective unit may be selected from any Training Package, as long as it contributes to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome and maintains the AQF level of this qualification.
To apply for a security consultant licence# in NSW, you must have had at least five (5) years of relevant security industry experience. You must also satisfy other criteria related to general suitability and criminal history. The cost of this licence is NOT included in course fees.

- CPP40719 Certificate IV in Security Management, or
- CPP40707 Certificate IV in Security and Risk Management, or
- CPP41519 Certificate IV in Security Risk Analysis
