Roland's experiences in the NSW security industry and adult vocational education and training (AVE&T) sectors cumulatively span over 14 years.
He has worked for several high-profile security providers in the private sector in both a supervisory and managerial capacity; with experiences in more recent years focusing on providing and overseeing work-based learning (WBL) strategies for large security teams and government organisations.
As a graduate of Charles Sturt University (CSU), Roland attained a Bachelor of Adult and Vocational Education (Language, Literacy and Numeracy) (BAdult&VocEdLLN); further solidifying his knowledge and experiences related to AVE&T and competency-based training (CBT) and assessment practices.
Roland has experience in working across both private RTOs and the public Technical and Further Education (TAFE) Commission as a Trainer/Assessor and Teacher. He has recently upgraded to the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (Fortress Learning).
SkillSec Group Pty Ltd (trading as SkillSec College) has formed a strategic partnership with Asset Training Australia Pty Ltd (trading as Asset College) [RTO code # 31718] in a third-party arrangement.
The Group (trading as SkillSec Security) also provides security (manpower and technical) services to the NSW market. Roland also provides a host of services to existing clients, including security consulting and advisory services (Individual NSW Security M/L 000104353).
He has expanded (since 2022) into consulting and providing advice to existing established registered training organisations (RTOs) in NSW.
