Entry to this qualification is limited to those who:

Have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package (current or superseded equivalent versions).

or

Have two years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role in an enterprise.

* Class 2E Private Investigator – work as a private investigator carrying out investigation and/or surveillance activities in NSW.

To qualify for a Class 2A security consultant* licence you must have at least five years of relevant security industry experience (see more information at NSW Police, Security Licensing & Enforcement Directorate (SLED).

* Class 2A Security Consultant – work as a security adviser or consultant, identifying and analysing security risks and selling solutions and strategies to minimise these risks in NSW.

• CPP40719 Certificate IV in Security Management, or
• CPP40707 Certificate IV in Security and Risk Management, or
• CPP41519 Certificate IV in Security Risk Analysis
